Dubbed the “Nostradamus of the Balkans”, Vanga is heralded for her extraordinary ability to predict the future even beyond the grave.

Born in 1911, the Bulgarian futuregazer was said to be blinded after being sucked up into a tornado.
She died 26 years ago at the age of 84, but many of her predictions are believed to have come true after her death.
However, her spooky prophecies are hard to verify as only a few, if any, were actually written down.
Others have argued that many predictions attributed to her simply originated from strange parts of the internet.
But that hasn’t stop believers from standing by her rather vague and take-it-with-a-grain-of-salt “words of wisdom”.
She had also made her fair share of terrifying predictions for 2023 – including a nuclear-plant disaster and lab-grown humans.
One of them included the Earth’s orbit changing – meaning we could face a flood or the next ice age, depending on how far the Earth would be from the sun.
From Putin’s assassination to medical breakthroughs, here what’s in store for 2024 as we approach the New Year.
Putin’s assassination attempts
The blind clairvoyant might have foreseen that the Russian president could be assassinated by someone from his country next year, The Mirror reports.
It follows a spate of suspected Ukrainian assassination hits on Kremlin cronies.
On Christmas Day, a Putin ally who called for Ukrainian children to be drowned was reported to be “seriously ill” after being poisoned.
Ukrainian military intelligence claimed Anton Krasovsky former director of Kremlin-backed channel RT, was reportedly the target of a Moscow assassination attempt.
And in October, the Russia secret services were said to be investigating an alleged plot from “within their own ranks” to assassinate the despot.
It followed with the Kremlin issueing an extraordinary message denying Putin was dead.
The bizarre claims the tyrant had died surfaced in October in a Telegram channel that alleged he died at his Valdai palace, just north of Moscow.
The outlandish theories follow years of feverish speculation surrounding Putin’s ailing health as questions have been raised over his changing facial features and signs of a possible serious illness, including Parkinson’s and pancreatic cancer.
Despite this, Putin has declared he will run for president in the 2024 elections – that he is all but certain to win, cementing his brutal reign over Russia until at least 203o.
Europe could see a rise in terrorist attacks
Vanga made a prediction about devastating weapons.
She claims that a “big country” will conduct biological weapons tests or nuke attacks next year.
The soothsayer also predicted that terrorists would cause chaos in Europe.
The continent is currently experiencing a heightened threat of terrorism, particularly from Islamic extremists.
The UK in particularly is facing a “substantial” terror threat, according to MI5 spy chief Ken McCallum, following the break out of the Israel-Hamas war.
Terrifying natural disasters
The mystic forecast there will be an orbital change, which usually occurs over a long period of time.
But if this occurs quicker, we could see terrifying natural disasters and even an increase in radiation levels.
Economic crisis and a rise in Eastern power
Vanga said there will be a huge economic crisis that will impact the global economy in 2024.
This could be due to factors such as an increase in debt levels, further geopolitical tensions, and economic power shifting from the West to the East, she claimed.
Cyber attacks
The mystic is also claimed to have predicted a rise in cyber attacks.
Apparently, advanced hackers would directly look at vital infrastructure such as power grids and water treatment plants – leading to national security threats.
Tech revolutions
The psychic is also said to have had a vision that there will be a major breakthrough in quantum computing, History.co.uk reports.
It comes as quantum computing is rapidly progressing and can solve issues faster than traditional computers.
If the prediction turns out to be true, 2024 could see the power of AI skyrocketing in society.

Last but most certainly not least, Vanga has foreseen what could be some of the biggest breakthroughs in the medical field.
