Homer James Jigme Gere, who looks like his well-known father, is the actor Richard Gere’s older brother from “Pretty Woman,” having married actress Carey Lowell.
Richard Gere has been regarded for many years as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after and charismatic actors; he is now the father of a young man who is even more beautiful than he was when he was a child.
Actor Homer James Jigme Gere, star of “Primal Fear,” is the son of his second ex-wife Carey Lowell, who is well-known for her role as a Bond girl in “Licence to Kill” and the television series “Law & Order.”

Richard was first married to supermodel Cindy Crawford, who disclosed that one of the reasons for their breakup in 1995 was the actor’s desire to have no children. However, five years later, in February 2000, the actor from “Officer and a Gentleman” welcomed Homer along with his then-partner, Carey Lowell.
Despite the fact that the two little boys Gere are now children, not much is known about them.
Richard claimed that the matter concerned a spontaneous decision. Richard and Lowell got married when Richard was three years old, and the actor gave his father the name of his son. Throughout his life, Homer was kept at a distance and shielded from public view by his parents. One of the few times that fans got to see him was when he and his father appeared on the red carpet of the 2014 Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.
Homer is a bright young man who has been a student at Providence, Rhode Island’s esteemed Brown University since 2019. He studies at the University of the Public Library, where he focuses on cognitive neuroscience and visual arts to earn a bachelor’s degree in art.
He currently holds a position at the university as a research assistant and will need to get his diploma in 2024. Homer is not very active on social media, and it appears that his Facebook page vanished in part in 2018.
Although Homer’s parents divorced in 2016, the legal process and their child’s guardianship battle began much earlier. Although Lowell had filed for divorce in 2012, it would take him four hard years to reach a settlement.
The couple opposed the guardianship of the 15-year-old Homer as well as the substantial wealth of the “Chicago” actor, estimated to be worth $250 million. They decided to share Homer’s guardianship, as he lives close to both his parents.
One year following his divorce, Homer was spotted while on a beach vacation in Italy with his father and Alejandra Silva, who would become his future wife. The three appeared stretched out and in the best of times.
t the age of eighteen, Homer went from being a meek child to a big brother when his father married a political activist who was thirty-three years older than him. Alexander, Homer’s first brother, was born in February 2019.
A short while later, the Gere family was photographed during their moments of calm. Homer and the comedian were busy training while Alejandra was embracing the newcomer. Richard proves that he was still in shape by entangling Homer to the same extent.
Homer had a second little brother in 2020, but his parents are so private that they haven’t even revealed his name. Despite the fact that the two little boys Gere are now children, not much is known about them.
